Lew- Thank you for sharing your personal story. I’m sure other readers join me in gratitude that you and colleagues were spared. The reminder of WTC’s motto, “Peace and Prosperity through Trade” is appropriate as we continue to rebuild our economy and observe this moment in our lives. I am grateful that the events brought me to DC and to become acquainted with you and so many others. I hope that (now) Amb. Huntsman will remind us of the dedication of Utah’s WTC on such a poignant date to audiences in the coming days. -W

Lew: Of all technocrats in Utah, you are best positioned to portray this. I was scheduled to be at the annual NABE meeting 7 World Trade Center that morning, but was suddenly called back to NACVA here in Salt Lake, the week before. Imagine the chaos as jetsom rained down on them...

My first cousin was a first-responding structural battalion firefighter at Building #1, and was "pancaked" along with 21 others that day. May all their memories be eternal, and may Lew Cramer be one of their spokesmen...
