President, Utah State Senate
Senator Waddoups currently serves as President of the Utah State Senate. He has served in the Utah Senate for 13 years and has served as Chairman of the Rules Committee and also as Senate Majority Leader. He served in the Utah House of Representatives for 10 years fulfilling leadership positions as Rules Chairman and Majority Whip. During his time in the legislature he has served as President of the Multi-State Transportation Commission, Chair of the Health Care Task Force, and served on the Judicial Conduct Commission. Mr. Waddoups has received numerous awards for his service, leadership and community involvement.
Mr. Waddoups is a Property Manager by profession and has been the President and owner of Cooperative Property Management for the past 27 years. He manages homeowners associations throughout Salt Lake and Davis counties.
