Adam Deibert
Data Analyst, World Trade Center Utah
Adam Deibert is the Data Analyst for World Trade Center Utah. In May 2011, Adam graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in International Studies and a B.A. in Russian. As a result of his studies and prior experiences, Adam speaks, reads, and writes in both Russian and Ukrainian. While completing his undergraduate degrees, Adam travelled to Eastern Europe twice; once for a study abroad program, focusing on Russian language and literature, in Krasnoyarsk, Russia and once for an internship as an analyst in the Economic section of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Aware of the great international opportunities available in Utah, Adam gained valuable experience locally by interning for the U.S. Commercial Service’s Export Assistance Center in Sandy, working as a volunteer Russian interpreter for Salt Lake County Aging Services, and performing visa and immigration casework as an intern in Senator Orrin Hatch’s Salt Lake City office. While a student, Adam also co-founded the Utah Students Studying Russian club and authored two internationally focused research papers as a Hinckley Institute of Politics sponsored intern.
In addition to his scholastic endeavors, Adam has worked locally as the coordinator of the Ukrainian language interpretation team for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and as a document runner and member of the office services team at Strong and Hanni Law Firm P.C. Adam is extremely excited to be part of the World Trade Center Utah family at such a pivotal time. He is committed to improving the quality of information and services offered by WTCUT and helping the organization become the premier source for local Utah companies, whether they are looking to initiate or increase their international operations.
