The Salt Lake Chamber did a wonderful job hosting this group and building bridges between Salt Lake City and the various communities represented by the delegates. It should be noted that the group traveled as part of the Open World program, a congressionally sponsored program that brings emerging leaders from Russia,Ukraine and other post-Soviet states to the United States in order to give them firsthand exposure to the American system of participatory democracy and free enterprise. The principles of accountability, transparency, and citizen involvement in government are among the concepts emphasized by the Open World Program.

This is a great opportunity for both Utah and the Russian Visitors to begin personal and Business relations. I would like to see much new business in both directions.
I would like to see this also lead to non-stop Air Service between Salt Lake City; The State of Utah and Russia. This opportunity does hold potential since "AEROFLOT AIRLINES" is a Skyteam Member with "DELTA AIRLINES".
