Jeff Hamilton, U.S. Commercial Service

A series of six Brown Bag Exporting Seminars are currently underway through the joint sponsorship of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, World Trade Center Utah and the U.S. Commercial Service. Each session involves various aspects of exporting and knowledgeable guest speakers who give their perspective and experience on how to make international trade work for your company, and how to get started. Miguel Rovira, Director of the Americas within the GOED office of International Trade & Diplomacy is the major organizer of this valuable series. This week’s seminar, third in the series, featured presenters Jeff Hamilton of the U.S. Commercial Service and Stephen Davis, Trade Commissioner from the Consulate General of Canada in Denver. Mr. Hamilton spoke about the numerous resources of the U.S. Commercial Service and explained how these services can help companies locate qualified international buyers. Mr. Davis covered the pros and cons of international joint ventures. A PowerPoint of the presentation is available for download ( Part 1 / Part 2 ). PowerPoints for the first two seminars are located here.
