(Salt Lake City) – Governor Gary Herbert and University of Utah President Michael Young welcomed Chinese Ambassador Zhou Wenzhong on his first official visit to Utah last week. Ambassador Zhou spoke to students at the Hinckley Institute and shared a traditional Chinese proverb: “People of the mountains have benevolent hearts.” The Ambassador complimented Utah for its economic progress and expressed his appreciation for the contributions of Ambassador Jon Huntsman in his short tenure in Beijing toward building stronger relationships between our two nations.
