
Jordanian Ambassador to the U.S.
His Royal Highness Prince Zeid Ra’ad Zeid Al-Hussein, Jordanian Ambassador to the U.S., made a presentation at the Salt Lake Chamber hosted by BYU, WTCU and GOED this past week.
The Jordanian Ambassador was warmly welcomed by Utah business owners, University representatives, and state government officials, all of whom share an economic interest, personal link or passion for Jordan and the Middle East. His Royal Highness was extremely articulate in describing the unique role that Jordan plays in the midst of the Middle East turmoil as well as the significant challenges that lie ahead.
An expert in the field of international justice, the Ambassador played a central role in the establishment of the International Criminal Court. He also served as a political affairs officer in UNPROFOR in former Yugoslavia and has an extensive knowledge of peacekeeping issues.
Prince Zeid holds a B.A. from John Hopkins University and a PhD from Cambridge (Christ’s College).
