The Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) is leading a mini trade mission to Japan to coincide with Delta Airlines’ inaugural non-stop flight to Tokyo, June 3-8. Beginning June 3, Delta will commence non-stop international air service between Salt Lake City and Tokyo Japan. The new route will lead to increased economic development and tourism opportunities between the regions. Japan boasts one of the largest and most dynamic economies in the world. Please join GOED for the inaugural flight and activities celebrating business/tourism between Utah and Japan.

June 3: Salt Lake Airport pre-departure reception. Depart Salt Lake City, (1:35 p.m. MST) June 4: Arrive in Tokyo (4:25 p.m. local time) June 5: Lunch reception (12 – 1:30 p.m.) for travel industry buyers; evening reception (6:30 – 8:30 p.m.) for participating U.S. and Japanese companies.
